BRITT MUMMA
National Geographic published photographer and cinematographer, Britt Mumma, transformed her passion for adventure into a captivating journey. With over a decade of experience in commercial film and photography, Mumma's work captivates audiences worldwide.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This safari expedition is suitable for those in good health and are comfortable with extended periods of sitting. Excursions encompass safari drives on dusty, bumpy roads in open vehicles and nature walks on uneven terrain.

TRIP ITINERARY
Embark on a captivating photo safari amidst the breathtaking landscapes of East Africa. Hone your photography skills while capturing the dynamic scenes of ever-changing wildlife. Learn the art of framing as you photograph zebras in dazzling herds, majestic lion prides, and the vibrant bird species that inhabit South Luangwa. Set against the backdrop of the lush Zambian wilderness on private property, there are unmatched photo opportunities and animal encounters await your lens.
ARRIVAL: 10/15/2024 arrive international flight, meet & greet, and overnight in Lusaka.
DEPARTURE: 10/21/2024 depart from Sungani to catch international flight.

Guests arrive in Lusaka and are transferred to overnight in Lusaka for an evening meet & greet with the group. Transfer to hotel included. Activities in Lusaka and additional transportation not included.

Early morning transfer from Ciela Resort & Hotel to Lusaka Airport for private charter flight to Sungani Lodge. Once settled, we’ll have a meet & greet with the creative team including Keith Ladzinski and the workshop will begin with a walking safari around the property.

Group will split between 2-3 safari vehicles for morning and afternoon game drives. Experts will rotate between vehicles. After dinner, we’ll have our first review session where we share some tips for common challenges in the field, and take questions to help you settle in.

Get up close and personal with Zambian flora and fauna with a morning walking safari and photographic hide workshop before dinner near Sungani’s private wildlife hides.

Morning game drive with a “brunch in the bush.” Afternoon birding excursion led by Keith. During the afternoon break, Tommy will be speaking about strategies for shooting photo and video as efficiently as possible.

Game drives continue today in South Luangwa. During afternoon tea, Britt will share insights to working in challenging environments and finding natural light. Dinner tonight will be a traditional Zambian feast.

After breakfast, guests will depart Sungani for Lusaka Airport via private charter flight. Any activities in Lusaka and additional transportation not included.
